KOMO Fusionable Taste in Province of Como

"Stunning restaurant in the heart of Como town. We had the 5 course tasting menu at 60 euro per person. Amazing value. Each dish was sublime and full of flavour. The staff we very warm and welcoming and explained each dish very well. It has a very extensive and expensive wine list but more reasonably priced options also available. We are returning to Como next year and will be sampling their 7 course tasting menu!"

"We came for lunch, place wasn’t very busy, staff were very welcoming. We had edamame, wagyu gyoza, deep fried chicken as starters, they were really good Then we had the California roll, sea bass fish, black angus and noodles. They were all awesome would definitely recommend trying this place"

"Food was fresh and some interesting pairings. Food was beautifully presented, albeit one of the items did not look like it's photograph. I was a bit disappointed by the small Sake menu, but managed to find a bottle. We sat on the Patio at lunch; there was one other table and 2 tables inside. I enjoyed the place, but it was quite off-putting to have 3 waiters blocking the entrance while talking and laughing (our table was close by). A level of service not on par with the sophistication of the dish additionally I expected, when presented with a dish to have to server both explain what we are eating and if we have any questions. Basically, most of our dishes were dropped off and the waiter went back to talking with his friends."

"I visited Komo Fusionable while I was actually looking for pasta and pizza, didn’t realise it was Japanese cuisine at first . The staff at reception were kind enough to let me know before we went in (bless them ), but we decided to try it anyway. Overall, the experience was good. The food tasted nice and was well presented. I’m sorry I’m not great with the exact dish names, but I remember having a sushi roll with avocado called something like “Queen…” and it was really good. The flavours were fresh and everything looked very elegant on the plate. In my opinion, a big part of what you’re paying for is the experience, the presentation, and the location of the restaurant. The dishes are beautifully made and feel premium. Taste-wise, no complaints at all , it was good. However, considering the prices, I do feel the portion sizes could be slightly bigger. Overall, a nice place for the experience and presentation, especially if you enjoy Japanese cuisine, but just be prepared for the portion sizes relative to the price."

"I was excited to go here based on the reviews and they weren't wrong! The food was incredible, so so tasty and fresh. A welcome break from the cheese heavy Italian food I had been having, but still some Italian flair with the food. A little pricy, like everything in Lake Como, but super worth it!"
